Restorative Yoga

This gentle and soothing therapeutic practice supports the physical body and mind in relaxing and resting on a very deep level. Simple postures are held passively for extended periods of time with the support of yoga props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets. This class is wonderful for stress reduction, supporting one’s immune system, and for unwinding one’s nervous system to help tap into the body and mind’s ability to naturally heal itself while one is in a state of stillness and deep rest.
